What Parents need to know

​Levels

Admission for our nursery/kindergarten programme is governed by the age stipulated by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
Pre-Nursery (N1):  The child is 2 turning 3 years old.
Nursery 2 (N2):  The child is 3 turning 4 years old.
Kindergarten 1 (K1):  The child is 4 turning 5 years old.
Kindergarten 2 (K2):  The child is 5 turning 6 years old.

Enrolment

​Each child will be admitted on his or her individual merits regardless of race, colour, religion, national origin or ancestry. Registration is open throughout the year (Preferably by appointment). Kindly contact the office to book an appointment. Please come personally to the office with the following documents on the appointment date:
  1. Parents' I/Cs
  2. Original and a photostat copy of the child's Birth Certificate
  3. Health Record Book and a photocopy of Certificate of vaccination
  4. 1 passport size of his/her photograph
  5. Registration fee - $85.60 (non-refundable)
For expatriates/SPRs only: Please bring the above (1) to (5) together with the original and a Photostat copy of the child's dependent pass/SPR certificate.

School Term

The kindergarten year consists of 4 terms. Each term is approximately 10 weeks. We will be closed on government designated school holidays, exceptional holidays and public holidays.
Morning Session (AM) | Mondays to Fridays | 08:45am - 12:15pm
In order for your child to participate in the assembly where he/she meets children of all levels, the child must be in school not later than 8.40 am. Please call the kindergarten admin office, if your child is going to be late or absent, especially when field trips are planned to start at these times. The school will not be able to accommodate your child when s/he arrives after the nursery/kindergarten classes have left for the field trip.

Children with Special Needs

​Maris Stella Kindergarten is only able to accommodate high functioning children with special needs in our classes.
In the event that Maris Stella Kindergarten is not able to meet the needs of your child, Maris Stella Kindergarten reserves the right not to admit or to de-register your child.
