The Kindergarten is under the direction of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. It has been registered under the Registration Schools Ordinance since 1954. The teachers are registered according to the Education Ordinance 1957. The Kindergarten is open to children of all creeds and nationalities, and to both sexes. 3 plus to 6 plus
Children from the morning session are supervised from 8.25 am and children from the afternoon session are from 11.45 am. Please follow the directions of our traffic wardens and be punctual when you pick up your children from the kindergarten. The school year begins in January and is divided into four terms which consist of 3 months each.
All fees paid are non-refundable. Fees are paid in advance before the beginning of each term/semester. Cheques should be crossed and made payable to Maris Stella Kindergarten. This must be obtained from the school tailor. It consists of a cepia blue dress with white trimmings for the girls (drip dry material) and blue shirt with white shorts for the boys. Registration for the public is by appointment only, and booking begins on the 1st working day after the Chinese New Year. Kindly call the office (Tel: 64743590) to book an appointment. Please come personally to the office with the following documents on the appointment date:
For expatriates/PRs only: Please bring the above (1) to (5) together with the original and a Photostat copy of the child's dependant pass/PR certificate. School buses are available. |
